“Fresh Start” is the latest musical creation by rapper Andy Mkosi, and is the first single taken off her upcoming E.P entitled iPressure.

As a lyricist Mkosi always explores & shares the contents of her mind honestly and without reservation. With “Fresh Start” she seeks to motivate others to get up and create the destiny of their choice, chanting on the chorus:

“Fresh start, this is a fresh start baby
Fresh start, this is a fresh start baby
Dawn of a new force, Dawn of a new day
Get up and get yours, a fresh start”

Andy uses the song to celebrate her own successes, like her triumph over negative thought patterns, and her ability to continue to learn and shine despite having dropped out of university. These references to her personal experiences, are what transforms “Fresh Start” from a mere song into a relatable anthem for a new generation of independent thinkers, who are bravely exploring the true limitlessness of their potential.
